The work I’ve done for years has a business of its own.
The independent consulting I began in January 2025 grew into Watkins Strategic Solutions, which I formalized as an LLC in 2026. I help owners figure out what needs to happen next and carry work through so they have more time for the business they set out to build.
Why it exists
Owners should not have to carry every part of the business.
A startup owner may be unsure what to tackle next. A growing business may have hiring, financial administration, registrations, or recurring back-office work piling up. Sometimes the owner knows exactly what needs to happen but has too much on their plate to move it forward.
I created WSS to help with that work: clarify the next steps, take responsibility for agreed tasks, and keep the owner informed where their decisions matter. That may mean a single project, ongoing support, or a better process when the business is ready for it. The aim is to free up the owner to focus on customers, growth, and the work they are passionate about.
WSS is my active business and the place for client-facing consulting work. I remain interested in the right opportunity to lead inside an organization as well.
What I bring
A natural extension of a career spent working across the business.
My experience in banking and technology services taught me to connect decisions across people, clients, finances, vendors, and operations. WSS puts that judgment to work for businesses that need an accountable hand.
Those responsibilities rarely stayed inside one department. They required seeing how decisions, people, systems, clients, and finances affected one another—and staying close enough to implementation to make the solution work in practice.
