Personal
The person behind the professional.
While much of my career has focused on leadership, operations, and building strong organizations, I have always believed that the interests outside of work matter just as much.
The things we enjoy, the environments we spend time in, and the curiosity we bring to life all shape how we think, how we lead, and how we relate to other people.
Growing up in North Carolina
Background that continues to shape how I think and lead.
I grew up in Forest City, North Carolina, where hard work, consistency, and showing up for people were simply part of everyday life.
During high school, I ran track and cross country. Those experiences taught me discipline, steady effort, and the value of improving over time — lessons that carried directly into my professional life.
Hiking and the outdoors
Spending time outdoors has always been a way for me to reset and reconnect. Whether it’s exploring trails, visiting coastal environments, or simply stepping away from the pace of work, I appreciate places that slow things down and sharpen perspective.
Photography
Photography became a natural extension of that curiosity. I enjoy capturing landscapes, coastal scenes, and moments that people might otherwise overlook.
It combines observation, patience, and attention to detail — qualities that also translate into how I approach leadership and work.
